TheTokyo Memorandum of Understanding (TMoU) on Port State Control (PSC) has completed a joint Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) focusing on compliance with Crew Familiarization for Enclosed Space Entry.
This is in accordance with the decision of the Port State Control Committee at its 25th meeting in Queenstown, New Zealand in 2014.
The CIC on Crew Familiarization for Enclosed Space Entry was conducted over the period of September 1 through to November 30, 2015.
The CIC was completed alongside similar campaigns conducted by the members States of five other PSC agreements/understandings: The Paris Memorandum of Understanding (PMoU) on PSC; the Viña del Mar Agreement, the Indian Ocean Memorandum of Understanding (IOMoU), the Mediterranean Memorandum of Understanding (MedMoU), and the Black Sea Memorandum of Understanding (BSMoU).
